| 30.04.200606:55 (GMT) | Three militants were killed in a special operation in Nalchik, the capital city of the Russian North Caucasus republic of Kabardino-Balkaria. The sweep was carried out jointly by the local department of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and the local Interior Ministry. "The militants were hiding in an apartment in a five-story house on 2nd Tamanskoi Divizii Street in Nalchik," a source in Kabardino-Balkar law enforcement told Interfax on Saturday. The operation caused no casualties among law enforcement officers and civilians, the source said. The dead militants have yet to be identified. Police found firearms and ammunition on them.
