Hamas delegation will arrive in Moscow on March 3. This date was published earlier this week on one of Hamas' main websites. It has also claimed there that the delegation will be headed by Haled Mashal, the head of organization's political wing. Earlier this week, the Israeli Haaretz newspaper also reported that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Hamas cannot agree upon the level at which this delegation will be received in Moscow. The Russians were ready to organize a meeting between Hamas representatives and the MFA Head Sergey Lavrov. Hamas in its turn insisted on meeting the President Putin. Otherwise, Hamas leadership threatened to send rather secondary representatives to Moscow. Therefore, if the information of the Israeli newspaper was true, as well as the abovementioned announcement of Hamas' website, this means that one of the parties agreed to compromise.
