AIA News Desk looks for free-lance writers
Preference is given to those, who have experience in gathering and processing of information in the following fields: politics, security, and macroeconomics (exclusive sources of information are an advantage that will be adequately remunerated), and to those, who can work on a daily basis, 6 days a week including holidays. Example of the AIA news can be viewed in the NEWS section of our website.
Knowledge of languages:
English – excellent writing and reading skills
AND
sufficient knowledge of at least two of the following languages:
Russian
Polish
Romanian
Bulgarian
Serbian

AIA looks for topic writers
Preference is given to those, who have experience in gathering and processing of information in the following fields: politics, security, and macroeconomics (exclusive sources of information are an advantage that will be adequately remunerated), and to those, who can work on a regular basis. Example of the AIA topic articles can be viewed on the main page of our website.

GENERAL REQUIREMENT:

Capability of covering the events in one (or several) of the specified regions, and not only in one specific country.

CANDIDATES WILL BE CHOSEN AS FOLLOWS:

1. For the News Desk
The candidate should send us three news items about what he/she concerns as the most important event of the week in his/her country in the following spheres: politics, security, macroeconomics.
Tips for writing news:
News item should not be longer than 160-170 words. Its opening phrase should not be longer than two lines.
2. For articles' writers
The candidate should send us two test articles. First one should be the analysis of any important event (in his/her opinion) that recently happened in one of the three spheres in his country: politics, security, macroeconomics. Another one should be a profile of one of the following figures in his/her country: deputy chairman of the second largest opposition party; deputy chief of one of the security services / deputy chief of the General Staff / deputy minister of foreign affairs; any large-scale private entrepreneur.
Tips for writing articles:
Article's title should be shorter than one line; main page preview is necessary; article must be 250 words and longer. Style of writing a profile can be different, see the examples.
