The factory will create employment for 500 people in Bashkiria that has 4 million habitants. Within the Russia Federation, it will create indirect employment for 15 thousand people.
The foundation of this factory, which will be also the third investment of the Turkish Sisecam Group was laid in Ufa last Saturday. Ozince emphasised that the Turkish firm has a global vision and also the purpose to be the regional leader in this part of the world, which shares a common history and a common culture. Ozince stated: "With 342 million dollars endorsement a year, we will create direct employment for 3200 people and indirect employment for 15 thousand people". Ozince confirmed that Sisecam is intended to make investments from Iran to China, and stated that in countries, which are tied to the Russia Federation the taxes are lower, and the infrastructure possibilities larger. Furthermore, he stated that production cost in Russia is 60-70 per cent of that in Turkey. Though, he pursued, market dynamics in Turkey are higher: "We have no rival in our own country. However, I think that we shall have one, for I've heard that recently an important foreign firm has been encouraged to invest". Furthermore, he summed up what his firm expects with his investment in Bashkiria as follows: "We are here to increase the riches of Turkish and Russian people, and to make their life easier. Our only expectation is that we will not be provided with any privilege whatsoever, though we hope also that practices, which hinder competition equality will be prohibited".

The Turkish firm has also a sand establishment in Nizhny Novgorod region.
As to the President of the Republic of Bashkiria, Murtaza Rahimov thanked the Turkish investors, and stated that in the country there are 300 active firms and 70 of them are Turkish. Rahimov pursued: "Sisecam is one of the most important firms on international market. Their products are known in over 100 countries. The technology they use has not a similar one in Russia. That means that our Republic will get the brand new technology, and therefore it will attract other investors. For this investment, which came in a period where unemployment rate is higher than ever, I thank to our Turkish friends". Rahimov also stated: "It is easy to work with Turks. They do not drink, they do not quarrel. This is indeed important. Moreover, we have cultural and religious ties with Turkey".
